You've got the car. You've got the records. Now tell its story.
Bordmappe reads your records into a searchable timeline. Every shop, every dollar, the actual receipts, and the story they tell. Built for your Bring a Trailer or Cars & Bids listing. $149 per car.
Having the records isn't the same as presenting them.
You've got the binder, and it's all there. The receipts, the rebuild invoices, the notes in a mechanic's hand. But a binder doesn't travel, and forty photos of paper in a listing isn't presenting it.
Left like that, your best asset is invisible. The picky buyers, the ones who'd pay the most for a documented car, move on, and that value goes with them.
Every record, dated and in order.
We read your records into one timeline. Every service in date order, the receipt attached and the work spelled out. A buyer searches it by shop, part, or year and digs into the proof behind each line.
Presented like that, your history stops being a pile and becomes the reason they bid. We total the spend and the years it spans, then write the story it tells. That's what this is.

There before the hammer, and long after.
Your Bordmappe earns its keep at every stage: ready before you list, live while buyers bid, and still working once the car sells.
You get it listed
We build your Bordmappe from your records and photos, then hand you an auction-ready export for Bring a Trailer or Cars & Bids: the description drafted, the photos in order, the previous owner's personal details taken out. Plus one link to drop in the listing.
It's live
While it's live, bidders jump from your listing to the Bordmappe, dig through the timeline and check the specs against factory, then head back to bid. You see who's looking: how many, where from, and when.
The hammer, and beyond
Your Bordmappe outlives the auction. No sale, still for sale? Switch on offers and the underbidder can still reach you. Sold? It transfers to the buyer, who picks up the account linked to the car and keeps adding records, photos, and specs from there.
Getting on Bordmappe is easy.
You register the car and send what you've got. We build it and hand you the link.
You register the car.
- Register the chassis. There's one Bordmappe per car, tied to its chassis number, and registering it makes it yours.
- Point us to what you already have. A link to the auction or your dealer listing is usually enough; paper records you can upload now or after checkout.
- Check out. $149 for the car, one time, through Stripe. That covers the build and keeps it live.
We build your Bordmappe.
- We read every document and lay it out as a timeline: each service and repair in date order, with the receipt attached to it.
- We spec the car out against how it left the factory, showing what's still original and what's been changed next to how it sits today.
- We publish it. It goes live at its own address, and it stays yours to keep adding to after the sale.
You share it.
- Every Bordmappe gets its own permanent link. Drop it in the auction listing, on your dealer site, or anywhere you point buyers.
- Buyers land on your Bordmappe, which answers what they'd otherwise email you about: what's been done to the car and how it specs against factory.
- While the auction runs, you see it working: how many people are following the car and looking.
“Thank you for putting this beautiful, intelligent page together showing the service timeline. Wish I had this on all my listings!”
