Bordmappe is a project of Archway Ventures LLC. This policy explains how we handle information collected through bordmappe.com.

What we collect

When you sign up, we collect your email address and display name. When you pin or claim a car, we associate your account with that car. When you upload documents, photos, or service records, we store those files and extract text and structured data from them so the car's history can be displayed as a timeline. We also collect basic analytics data (page views, referral source, approximate location) to understand how people find and use the site.

Who owns the data

You own the documents and photos you upload. A car's service history belongs to the car (tied to its VIN), not to any single person. When ownership transfers (you sell the car), the verified-owner badge moves to the new owner and the history remains with the vehicle. You can remove your account and the documents you uploaded at any time.

How we use it

We use your information to operate Bordmappe: authenticating you, displaying cars you pin or own, rendering the timeline from your uploads, and communicating with you about your account. We may send you occasional updates about the product if you opt in.

What we don't do

We don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We don't run advertising on the site. We don't use your data for anything beyond operating Bordmappe.

Third-party services

We use a small number of third parties for hosting, database, file storage, authentication, email delivery, and basic usage analytics. These services process data on our behalf to operate the site, not for their own purposes.

Your choices

You can request to see, update, or delete any personal information we hold about you. Email us at hello@bordmappe.com and we'll take care of it.
